Better than Strawberries

Plump and luscious, these local strawberries are an early summer delight.

Sachuest Point

The best part about this “wildlife refuge” is that you can easily escape the walking paths and scuttle out onto these fantastic rocks, climb around and see what’s hiding in the cracks, left by the tide.

Green Animals, Portsmouth

These semi-public gardens are just beginning to fill with color and wild. They’re still flirting, playfully reserving their full release for June’s uncompromised sunshine.

Second Beach, Newport

The rainy weekend before Memorial Day. Tourists aren’t here yet and the beach parking lots are still empty. Even though summer hasn’t started yet, it already seems to be passing too quickly.
